1. GENERAL TERMS

1.1. The Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the «Terms») set forth the rights and obligations of the author of the publication (hereinafter referred to as the «User») posted on the Memory Lane website (hereinafter referred to as the «Website», «Website Administration»).

1.2. Users of the Website are users of the global information network or the Internet.

1.3. The User, posting any information on the Website, shall agree with the entirety of the Terms and shall be obligated to strictly comply with the requirements and responsibilities established by the Terms.

2. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE USER

2.1. When posting photographs and data (hereinafter referred to as the «Information») about the Heroes of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 the User agrees to use only reliable information that can be confirmed by documentary evidence. If, for any reason, the information distributed by the User contains inaccurate data, the User undertakes to resolve all disputes arising on this fact and in connection with it with third parties independently on his own and at his own expense.

2.2. Any information posted by the User on the Website must comply with the requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation. It is forbidden to post any information that could be extremist; illustrate criminal activity; contain forbidden symbols; slander; defame the honor, dignity and (or) business reputation of third parties. Advertising is prohibited. In case any signs of a violation of the current legislation of the Russian Federation are revealed, the Website Administration has the right, at its discretion, to delete information containing the corresponding violation.

2.3. The User agrees to be personally responsible for any information that he places on the Website.

2.4. By posting information on the Website, the User gives the Website Administration the right to use the information provided for publication and posting in the Memorial gallery, on the websites of the publicly accessible databanks «Memorial» and «Feat of the people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945» as well as the interactive webservice «The memory of the people.»

3. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE WEBSITE ADMINISTRATION

3.1. The Website Administration is not responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information posted by the User, as well as for its compliance with the requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation.

3.2. The Website Administration reserves the right: to amend this Terms unilaterally, without prior notice to the User; to block access to the Website for registered or unregistered Users violating these Terms with no explanation; to block or delete User accounts that violate these Terms with no explanation; suspend the operation of the Website in order to carry out maintenance work.

3.3. The Website Administration reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or delete any information published by the User, including information that violates the restrictions established by these Terms, including personal messages and comments at any time for any reason or without explanation, with or without prior notice of such, not liable for any harm that may be caused to the User by such an action.

4. LIABILITY WAIVER

4.1. Under no circumstances will the Website Administration is liable for any direct or indirect material or non-material damage, lost data, infringement of honor, dignity or business reputation caused in connection with the use of information services and (or) information posted by Users on the Website.

4.2. The Website Administration is not responsible for any errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in processing or transferring data, interruptions in communication lines, as well as unauthorized access to User data in the process of providing Users access to the Website through the global information network.

4.3. A User who believes that his legal rights and interests have been violated due to the actions of the Website Administration or third parties may send a claim through the screen feedback form of the Website.

5. PERSONAL DATA USE POLICY

5.1. By accepting these Terms, the User agrees to the processing of the personal data provided by him, including collection, processing, storage and destruction. The User confirms that no part of the personal data submitted by him on the Website violates the legal rights of personal data owners and third parties.

5.2. The User is aware and fully agrees that the personal data posted by him on the Website (except for the email address) becomes publicly available in the context of Articles 3 and 8 of the Federal Personal Data Act dated July 27, 2006 No. 152-FZ (hereinafter referred to as the «Act») from the moment they are posted.

5.3. The User guarantees that upon posting the information regarding third parties, he has all the necessary permissions, or that this data is publicly obtainable.

5.4. It is forbidden to post the personal data of Users or any third parties on the Website without their personal consent to such actions. The placement of information about deceased persons is regulated by Art. 9 of the Act.

5.5. In order to prevent any illegal commercial circulation of military decorations and ensure the safety of the decorated and their families, Users are not recommended to openly publish the numbers of orders and medals in within the personal data of the decorated.

5.6. The Website Administration does not transfer personal data, IP addresses, email addresses and other user information to third parties, with the exception of cases provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

6. FINAL PROVISIONS REGARDING PERSONAL DATA

6.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation. Issues not regulated by these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

6.2. If, for one reason or another, one or more of the provisions of these Terms is invalid or not legally binding, this does not affect the validity or applicability of the remaining provisions.
